Remembering Together, REFLECT, Community Day, Campbeltown Museum Family Day

Join the Campbeltown team for Remembering Together, REFLECT, Community Day at Campbeltown Museum on Saturday, August 17. Help the REFLECT team celebrate the memories shared of lockdown and beyond, contributing to a new community sundial. Artworks created by 5 local primary schools and a photography exhibition with works from the local community and care homes will be displayed throughout the museum. Throughout the day, live music by the Sarachs exploring local heritage through song and performance by Lori and Gaia Silvan based on themes from the Tin Forest connecting to themes of nature discussed throughout REFLECT will also take place.

11.30am Doors Open, garden party with refreshments in the Linda McCartney Memorial Garden

11.40am Music from the The Sarachs  

12.00pm Performance by Lori and Gaia Silvan based on themes from the Tin Forest (running time 15 minutes)

12.20pm Music from the The Sarachs  

12.45pm Performance by Lori and Gaia Silvan based on themes from the Tin Forest (running time 15 minutes)

This event is one of four community days which marks the end of the four REFLECT Remembering Together community artist commissions.

If you can not attend in person, CHARTS will host a live stream on the day, linking the various artists and communities in Argyll and Bute; full information will be released in August. 

REFLECT, Remembering Together is funded by the Scottish Government and delivered by Greenspace Scotland in partnership with Argyll and Bute Council and the Culture, Heritage & Arts Assembly, Argyll & Isles (CHARTS).
