About Evolve Arts and Tourism

Evolve Arts and Tourism is creating a new programme of work across Argyll and Bute to help mitigate the socio-economic challenges exacerbated by the pandemic. This will take the form of five area-based projects in Dunoon, Oban, Kyles of Bute and Lismore. You can now find Evolve Arts and Tourism-related project Cowal Summers Art Trail online.

In Dunoon Evolve has supported Hannah Clinch in the building of a Beach Hut, Eve Campbell and Karen McPhail will undertake 'Fragements' which will see a trail of ceramic treasures for people to find, Siamh Sound is creating a series of sound pieces on Lismore which will encourage visitors to explore and dwell in places of unique beauty and experiences. In Oban Campbell and Joy Cameron will create a unique Market Barra as a platform for selling local products and creating local experiences.

Over the course of 2022 the projects will emerge to create a unique offering to locals and visitors. Evolve is supported by Creative Scotland and Argyll and Bute Council.
