The Barra is a moving travelling market designed to draw together creatives for the region and allow visitors new ways to engage with local work. This has given creative makers the opportunity to widen their visibility to new customers allowing them to showcase local art at various locations across Argyll and Bute. 

The Barra thought about sustainability and local employment and was created through the renovation of old materials supported by Wayne Johnson of the Racer Café who joined in the Barra team by providing storage, a works area, additional material and most importantly was able to share his marvellous woodworking skills.
