PROJECT MANAGER, COASTAL CULTURES – ISLANDS
Fee: Part-time freelance at £200 per day over six-month period.
CHARTS is currently recruiting for the role of Project Manager for Coastal Cultures - Islands, to support three distinct, socially engaged arts commissions, residency-based.
Coastal Cultures - Islands, is an innovative programme of placemaking and community engagement using the CHARTS support framework designed for collaborative working to explore and extend artists social-engagement practice on islands. This project will build on recently allocated support from the Scottish Government to develop cultural opportunities across the region’s islands, via a recently established project, Ràmh.
The project manager will work independently and as part of the wider CHARTS staff team to deliver Coastal Cultures - Islands. Bringing expertise in project management and significant experience of arts commissioning support, the role aims to assist the creative practitioners by enabling them more focused time to develop their concept and community relationships, leading to stronger outcomes.
