Seach gu bheil an sgeama dhuaisean seo a’ buntainn gu lèir ri brìgh na Gàidhlig, tha e ag amas mar sin air aire fileantaich - Gàidheil fhèin no luchd-ionnsachaidh na Gàidhlig - a tha nan luchd-ealain no luchd-dualchais a’ fuireach ann an Earra-Ghàidheal, agus a tha an t-saothair chruthachail aca stèidhichte air brìgh suidheachadh, cànan agus/no dualchas na Gàidhlig. CHARTS invites applications for Cruthaich Earra-Ghàidheal, a new place-based award scheme supporting creative work focused on Gaelic language and culture. This awards scheme will offer 12 awards in total, aiming to issue 3 awards of £1000 across each of the 4 local council areas in Argyll and Bute.
Who Is Cruthaich Earra-Ghàidheal For?
This awards scheme is all about Gaelic significance, open to fluent Gaelic speakers or learners who are artists/heritage practitioners living in Argyll, and whose creative practice builds around the importance of Gaelic context, language and/or culture. Individuals, partnerships or organisations are welcome to apply.
What type of work does this support?
Awards aim to support a variety of expressive arts work across a range of media, and submissions may include proposals to support the development of new work or build on existing work with a clear rationale to do so, highlighting the importance of Gaelic in an Argyll, Place, context.
