On 3 May 2022, we hosted a Celebration of Achievement event to mark our Heritage Horizons project, and to recognise the achievements of the young people who have taken part.

The event was held at Dunoon Burgh Hall and opened by Seymour Adams, Vice-Chair of CHARTS. Throughout the day we shared the placement stories of the young people involved in the project and heard from heritage experts. There were also guided tours of the Joan Eardley exhibition led by Heritage Horizons placement holders.

During the event we shared a film created by our Modern Apprentice Kirsten Millar, showcasing the placement holders’ experiences:

We also showed a short film created by participant Jamie McDonald. Jamie’s film explores the Ringing Stone on Tiree, and was produced with the support of Screen Argyll. To view the 3d model visit https://p3d.in/oLWzC
