CHARTS Under 30

Over 2022/23, CHARTS has been developing a group of people under 30 who can help be a voice for young people in the region and help to build opportunities. CHARTS Under 30s was created to allow young people a chance to represent themselves within the CHARTS Networks.

In 2022 CU30s received funding from TSI to develop the group and build a manifesto for young people. Through this funding, we supported CU30s members to engage post-pandemic in physically accessing and engaging with heritage, allowing them to meet up with experts.

Roles in the group are not currently paid but there is potential for paid work developing pilot projects, funds permitting.

We’ve developed a DIY zine kit with Glasgow Zine Library to help our Charts Under 30 with their creative goals and find out what you want in the future for the creative and heritage sector in Argyll and Bute.

The CHARTS Under 30 Group (CU30)is a membership group of CHARTS members under 30 years of age. The aim of the group is to increase opportunities for young people in the region, develop new programmes that are peer led and offer peer-to-peer support.
