Research trip to Venice for disabled artist

Creative Scotland are offering a disabled visual artist a 7 day self-directed research trip to the Venice Biennale!
What's on offer?
A free trip to Venice - we recommend travel is undertaken in September 2024, however this is flexible to the needs and availability of the selected artist.
An artist bursary of £5,000.
Travel to and accommodation in Venice for a seven day trip. Travel within Venice is also covered.
Entry tickets to exhibitions and events whilst in Venice, including a pass to the Biennale exhibitions at the Giardini and Arsenale.
Who is this opportunity for?
This opportunity is open to disabled visual artists at any stage of their career.
Applicants must have a visual arts practice.
Applicants must be based in Scotland.
Applicants must be over 18 years old.
Who can't apply?
Organisations or companies.
Full-time students cannot apply to this fund. Part-time students can apply but must prove their part-time status and that this opportunity does not contribute to their academic studies.
Artists living or working outside of Scotland.
