Welcome to Immersive Arts, a programme designed to help artists develop their practice using immersive technologies.
Essentially, it’s all about breaking down barriers, making what can be an exclusive field of practice much more accessible. With £3.6 million in funding available to support artists across the UK, whether you're curious about immersive technologies or ready to dive in, you'll have the opportunity to explore, experiment, or expand how you work within this exciting field.

Explore: What would you do with £5,000 to explore immersive arts?
If you have a creative practice but limited experience with immersive arts or tech, you could receive £5,000 of funding, support, and guidance to explore and spark new thinking.
Experiment: Ready to get your ideas off the ground?
If you apply, you could receive £20,000 along with tailored mentoring and expert support to expand your work and present it to an audience.
Expand: Already have an immersive arts project in
development?
Apply for £50,000 plus tailored mentoring and expert support to expand your work and present it to an audience.
What is Immersive Arts?
Immersive arts means different things to different people, but we define it as making art with technology to actively involve an audience.
Think virtual, extended and augmented realities:
• engaging multiple senses.
• bridging the gap between physical and digital spaces.
• connecting people to each other and the environment.
• changing the way we think and create.
You don’t need to be tech-savvy to apply – just bring your creativity and curiosity!
If you need to apply in a different format or require additional support (like sign language interpreters), then please just let us know. We may be able to provide financial assistance.
