Duration: Part-time for four months (to be completed by April 2024)

Fee: Real Living Wage, 21 hours per week

 

This is an exciting new opportunity to work with the Argyll Collection, through CHARTS projects Reconnected and Argyll Aspires, as an Exhibition Trainee. This opportunity will allow you to learn and earn, whilst working towards creating an exhibition showcasing the artworks of the Argyll Collection. You will have the opportunity to research the history of the collection and the artworks it contains and to choose a small group of pieces for public display. You will be supported to visit the artworks, to undertake your research, choose the pieces for display, and write the exhibition information. You will also get the opportunity to install the exhibition - learning how best to hang and display different types of artworks.

 

It is essential that applicants are:

  1. Aged up to 30 years old (applications from those aged up to 33 will be considered in exceptional circumstances)
  2. Living in the Cowal or Bute area
