ARCHAEOLOGY SCOTLAND Summer School 2024

This year the Summer School will explore Bute. 

 

The Summer School was last in Bute in 1996.  On our return to Bute, after 24 years, we hope to bring you up to date on the discoveries made since our last visit. Our primary source comes via the Discover Bute Landscape Partnership Scheme, 2008-2012, working in conjunction with RCAHMS, which sponsored and enabled a wide range of archaeological investigations on Bute.

 

Please find attached, an invitation to join the Summer School in Bute, an outline of what the 2024 Summer School will comprise and a Registration Form that can be returned to Archaeology Scotland (one form per attendee) to apply to join the Summer School.

 

As in previous years, we anticipate a high demand for places on the 2024 Summer School, so please submit your applications as soon as possible. 

PLEASE NOTE: There are no single rooms left now but a few twin rooms for sole occupancy are available.
