One of the key aims of Heritage Horizons is to address the challenges of an ageing heritage workforce and to build youth employability skills by creating opportunities for young people across Argyll & Bute. Over the past six months the project has helped 60 young people and has placed twelve in heritage organisations to upskill them.
To mark their achievements we’ve organised Love Heritage on Thursday 17 February from 4 - 5 pm. Love Heritage will allow other heritage organisations and young people to hear the stories of the young people involved in Heritage Horizons. Join us as they show how we can all build stronger opportunities and encourage young people to take up a career in heritage.

There is still more to come for Heritage Horizons with two new young people starting their placement in Ulva this month. To keep up to date have a look at our Heritage Horizons showcase.
