In August 2026, artist Eòghann Mac Colla joined CHARTS at Campbeltown Museum for the final pilot residency of Ceanglan Chaluim Chille, exploring cross-cultural connections!
The week included a hello and welcome at Mull of Kintyre Music Festival's Gaelic Night, two intergenerational zine workshops, work-in-progress projections at Kilkivan Churchyard, and a public projection at the Aqualibrium featuring a new short film exploring the Campbeltown Cross, which asked questions around the translation of the town's name and Gaelic heritage's place within the contemporary town setting.

Ceanglan Chaluim Chille builds on CHARTS’ earlier Cuairt Chaluim Chille project, encouraging further cultural collaboration between Argyll and Ireland.
The first pilot residency took place on Mull in August 2025 with Dr Alasdair C Whyte (Macillebhàin), followed by award-winning sean-nós singer Clár Ní Argáin at Campbeltown Museum in October 2025.
Ceanglan Chaluim Chille is funded by Bòrd na Gàidhlig, Foras na Gaeilge and Colmcille, with further support from Argyll and Bute Council, liveArgyll and Creative Scotland.
