The Friends of Campbeltown Museum AGM

Annual General Meeting will be held in the Burnet Building, Campbeltown Museum, on Wednesday, 12 July 2023, at 7.30 p.m.

The formal business will be followed by a short talk by Mr. Angus Martin on ‘Willie Mitchell and his Songbook’. Willie, who died in 1986, was a musician, singer, collector of local folk songs and a writer of poems and songs. His manuscript songbook was donated to the Museum by his daughter, the late Mrs Agnes Stewart, and is on display there. Ms. Anne Leith and Mr. Les Oman
will perform some of the songs in his book.
