The Argyll Collection on Tour: Exhibition and Talk

Rothesay Library

Wednesday, September 2nd, 2-4pm

Explore a selection of artworks from The Argyll Collection, including works by Royal Scottish Academy (RSA) artists.

Join CHARTS staff for this exhibition and talk, and to enjoy a rare opportunity to view artworks from the Collection up close. Learn about the Collection's unique origins, its significance to Argyll and Bute, and how it continues to inspire and engage communities today.

Curator and tour manager Rosalyn McKenna will give an introduction to the Collection, exploring its history, development and current use, and explain why the selected works were chosen.

Kirsty MacNab, currently researching the provenance of the Collection, with a view to catalogue production in the future, will also be available to meet visitors. CHARTS staff will share insights into the artworks, discuss the history of the Collection, and answer your questions.

The talk will start at 2pm and last for 30 minutes, followed by a Q&A session.

Everyone is welcome.
