Campbeltown Grammar School Gallery

Friday, October 30th, 5-7pm

Discover a selection of artworks from The Argyll Collection, including works by Royal Scottish Academy (RSA) artists, curated by pupils from Campbeltown Grammar School.

CHARTS staff will be on hand throughout the event to share insights into the artworks, discuss the history of the Collection, and answer your questions.

Rosalyn McKenna, manager of this special tour as part of the RCA bicentenary and project manager of the Argyll Collection over recent years, and lead Argyll Collection researcher Kirsty MacNab, will be available. 

The exhibition will also feature art portfolios from pupils in the school, showcasing their remarkable creativity and new curatorial work. 

The event is suitable for all ages and light refreshments will be provided. 

Everyone is welcome. 

The Argyll Collection on Tour is part of RSA200: Celebrating Together. This is delivered by The Culture, Heritage and Arts Assembly, Argyll and Isles (CHARTS) with support from Royal Scottish Academy, Museums and Galleries Scotland, Creative Scotland, liveArgyll, Campbeltown Community Windfarm Fund, Cruach Mhor Windfarm Trust and Argyll and Bute Council.
