The UK’s remaining temperate rainforest is much rarer than tropical rainforest. 50% of what remains of this key British habitat is in Argyll. Throughout 2025, we will be touring the area with a brand-new storytelling show that features the folklore and history of these West Coast wild woods.

Hear how Argyll’s oaks were turned into weapons of war, how trees carry treasures unseen, and play with the mushroom telephone. Funded by Creative Scotland with assistance from Culture, Heritage & Arts Assembly, Argyll & Isles (CHARTS).
