About this Event

Bring a prosecco and do some printmaking along with artist Rebecca Scott and create your very own nature-themed artwork LIVE on Zoom video chat.

Let's get together through video chat and print while having a tipple. This online workshop is all about coming together and being sociable while being physically apart. While Prosecco is suggested, feel free to have a tea or coffee!

Follow along with Rebecca's step-by-step demonstration to learn about mark-making, colour and pattern or work from an image of your own to make a finished print with your own personal touch. You will be shown various techniques and the workshop is suitable for beginners. Printmaking is a fantastic medium and you can produce satisfying results quickly.

You will need your own art supplies for this online workshop so feel free to use whatever printmaking supplies you have available: lino, lino cutter, water based printing ink, roller, ink tray, coloured paper.

Optional extra. . .

We can provide a kit with everything you'll need to complete this project. Kits are £22 and can be ordered via the website for delivery or click and collect from the art hub Tuesdays and Thursday from 2-4pm. If you are shielding and are local (Helensburgh, Cardross, Garelochhead or on the Rosneath peninsula) we can deliver to you free of charge.

The kit includes:

● Lino cutter (5 blades)

● Printing ink (500mls) (choice of black, red, blue, white)

● Lino 20x15cm x2

● Roller 10cm

● Ink tray

● Range of paper x10 sheets

Rebecca has extensive experience as a community artist and tutor so you will be in safe hands! Please note that templates are provided by the artist (if you do not feel confident in your drawing abilities) and this class is ideal for beginners.

We will email you approximately an hour before the workshop with a link to the Zoom call.

All profits from our workshops enable our not for profit organisation to provide art for our community and vulnerable groups.

Our workshops are non-refundable but where possible, with 24 hours notice, we will transfer you to another similar workshop.

Look forward to seeing you online!
