Live Literature: Folklore of Kintyre

Join CHARTS and Author and Storyteller Dougie Strang for an evening of folklore from Kintyre and wider Argyll. This online event highlights aspects of heritage that cannot be easily represented through physical objects alone.

Dougie will share stories that connect to Campbeltown Museum’s collections, spaces, and settings where relevant, using narrative to bring intangible heritage, oral traditions, and a sense of place to life. This event is open to anyone interested in the folklore, history, and culture of Argyll and Kintyre, including Gaelic.
