Lino Cut Printmaking Workshop

In this workshop we’ll learn the basics of printmaking, how to plan your design, make marks and create layers of colour to create a beautiful lino-print. You will be given a PDF brochure to keep which will include all the information you need to continue printmaking.
This workshop takes place online so you will need to have internet access and the materials listed below to hand. It's suitable for beginners and anyone who would like to refresh their skills in company, or if you just fancy having a go.
What you'll need to craft along. . .
● A lino cutter set
● A sheet of lino (more than one is preferable)
● Printmaking ink
● A pencil
● Roller
● An ink tray
● A range of paper

We can provide a kit with everything you'll need to complete this project. Kits are £22 and can be ordered via the website helensburgharthub.com for delivery or click and collect from the art hub Tuesdays and Thursday from 2-4pm. If you are shielding and are local (Helensburgh, Cardross, Garelochhead or on the Rosneath peninsula) we can deliver to you free of charge.

● Printing ink (500mls) (choice of black, red, blue,white)
● Lino 20x15cm x2
● Roller 10cm
● Ink tray
● Range of paper x10 sheets
Taking this workshop is Rebecca Scott, a graduate of Glasgow School of Art with a passion for sharing creative skills with others. Rebecca has extensive experience as a community artist and tutor so you will be in safe hands.
