How can heritage organisations support Scottish Traveller communities?
This Knowledge Exchange session will support learning from the Delivering Change programme, and is also open to anyone in the Scottish museum sector.
Join us on this Knowledge Exchange where we hear from Progress in Dialogue, founded by Gypsy/Traveller activists, now growing and led by people from many marginalised communities, who platform lived experience. We will hear about Progress in Dialogue's work particularly with Scottish Travellers and Nawken communities, and how museums and heritage organisations could support with rememberance and reconciliation of past atrocities, with the Scottish Government's recent apology of the 'Tinker' experiments in mind.
