This session will focus on the beautiful bronze artwork in the Helensburgh Outdoor Museum. Understand what the artwork is made from and find out how it needs to be treated in order to look its best. Follow the conservation experts through their journey of cleaning, treating, waxing and polishing and maybe even have a go at helping them along the way.

There will be plenty of opportunity to view the work of the experts and ask questions.

Local historian Stewart Noble will also give a short talk on Helensburgh, the square’s history and some of the heritage represented in the museum.

The session will take place outside, in the Outdoor Museum in Colquhoun Square. Please wear appropriate clothing for the weather and bring waterproofs and sunscreen.
