A pen and ink drawing workshop with wildlife artist, adventurer and conservationist, Rachel Brooks.
Join for an evening of building confidence in drawing by using pen and ink to draw the creatures of the sea. Hear from Rachel Brooks about her journey in art, science, adventure and conservation.
Rachel Brooks is an internationally acclaimed Wildlife Artist and Scientific Illustrator based in Oban. She specialises in marine wildlife, capturing high levels of intricate detail. Drawing from her extensive background in Zoology, Marine Biology, and the Scuba Industry, she has immersed herself in the field, spending years amidst her fascinating subjects. She is an advocate for celebrating the often over looked marine life found in the UK, and for shark conservation, using photography and story telling alongside her ink and watercolour work to bring her subjects to life.
Workshop suitable for adults or young people (14 and above but please attend with an adult if you are under 18.) Suitable for beginners or those looking to learn more.
