Connecting Conversations: Heritage – Tangible and Intangible
Posted by CHARTS
After so many years of not meeting up, Argyll and Bute Museums and Heritage Forum are delighted to be able to invite representatives of the heritage sector to ‘Connecting Conversations’, a day for us to consider how best to showcase the heritage of Argyll and Bute. This is a free event and will include a light lunch.
Thanks to grant funding from Museum Galleries Scotland and The National Lottery Heritage Fund, ABMHF is offering small bursaries for those who need financial support to attend.
‘Connecting Conversations: Heritage – Tangible and Intangible’ will take place on Thursday 23 February, 10am to 3.30pm, at The Rockfield Centre, Oban.
During the day, we will build a picture of: ‘What is Heritage – Tangible and Intangible in Argyll and Bute? to begin the process of understanding the breadth of heritage across Argyll and Bute.
We will hear from two speakers about successful projects which have utilised heritage resources to connect and widen their reach; there will be lots of opportunities to network with other heritage workers, volunteers and organisations, with a limited number of tables for displays, and we have five x five-minute mayhem slots in which organisations/individuals can tell their story.
To apply to book one of these slots, please email: abmhforum@gmail.com
