Bookends, the community run book festival with a difference. Visit us in our cosy reading room at The Victory Hall Benderloch from 11am daily. Come to one of our author talks. Featured authors include broadcaster Lesley Riddoch, Haynes Manual for Astronauts writer Ken MacTaggart, historical novelist Liz MacRae Shaw and our storyteller Alison Clark. Kenneth Steven is our poet in residence who will be giving a poetry talk with Q&A as well as his one-to-one online dialogues and we’ve also talks from Angus Peter Campbell reading from “Memory and Straw”, writer Kathie Griffiths from “The Oban Times” and our Performance poet Stuart A. Paterson.
