REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE! In this ECO-friendly workshop you'll learn how to turn your old t-shirts and plastic bags into yarn and we'll turn the yarn into a useful container for crochet hooks, pencils, plants . . .
This workshop takes place online so you will need to have internet access and the materials listed below to hand. It's suitable for beginners, anyone who just needs a wee reminder of how it’s done, or you just fancy some social crochet.
What you'll need to craft along. . .
the pattern (this will be emailed before the workshop)
a t-shirt or a good quality plastic bag
fabric scissors/scissors
a 4.0mm crochet hook ideally
a 200g tin can to cover or just to shape
a stitch marker
a big eye needle
Optional extra. . .
If you are local (Helensburgh, Cardross, Garelochhead or on the Rosneath peninsula) we can provide a kit with the tools you'll need to complete this project. It will include a 4.0mm hook and a big eye needle.
