Becoming Climate Resilient - Free Training
Posted by CHARTS
This is a free interactive training workshop for residents of Argyll and Bute. Funded by ABCAN and the Scottish Government and delivered by creative and environmental educator and artist Emma Henderson.
Climate resilience is the ability of businesses, organizations, and communities to prepare for, withstand, and recover from the impacts of climate change. This workshop will focus on Argyll and Bute, exploring how we can anticipate, absorb, and adapt to hazardous climate events in an effective and timely manner.
Every community experiences climate change differently, so we will examine its unique effects across Argyll and Bute. Together, we’ll explore practical actions and creative solutions to build resilience, enhance preparedness, and create a healthier, safer, and more sustainable environment for both people and wildlife in our changing climate.
This workshop will take place on:
