This session is designed for artists, venues, festivals, local authorities and third sector organisations who want to know more about the practical considerations of bringing performance to outdoor contexts.  Experienced arts practitioners with a grounding in the outdoor arts working across artistic creation, production management and programming roles will give an over-view of the logistics involved in bringing your work into the open-air environment.  Topics will span stewarding, front of house, risk assessment, licensing, weather-proofing and accessibility alongside trouble shooting what is possible within current social distancing guidelines.

Speakers will include specialists whose work spans outdoor and site specific arts contexts including John Wilkie (Freelance Production Manager), Fi Fraser (Production Manager) and Claire Dow (Principal Events Officer, Dundee Summer Streets/Dundee City Council).

This event will be hosted on Zoom.
