The UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) is a central pillar of the UK Government’s Levelling Up agenda and provides £2.6bn for funding for local investment by March 2025. The Fund aims to boost productivity, pay, jobs and living standards as well as improve public services, restore sense of community and empower communities. Local authorities across the UK were given the task of planning and delivering investment within the following investment priorities: Community and Place; Supporting Local Business; and People and Skills.
UKSPF VIBRANT & LIVING SPACES GRANT
Argyll and Bute Council is delighted to announce the launch of the Vibrant & Living Spaces Grant Fund, funded through the UKSPF to deliver under the Community and Place Priority.
The Vibrant & Living Spaces Grant Fund is open for applications fromFriday 12thJanuary 2024and closes onFriday 23rdFebruary 2024at17:00pm.
The total pot available is£304,642.The fund is to supportcapital projectswhich will create of improve living spaces in the following areas:
green or blue space;
community facilities and amenities; or
cultural, heritage and tourism assets.
Applications will be considered from:
Community and voluntary groups based in Argyll and Bute;
Organisations which have not for profit status, such as being a registered charity, social enterprise, or community interest group based in Argyll and Bute;
The Council will award grants from£10,000 – £50,000to eligible organisations that support activities that deliver UKSPF objectives
