Individual

The extended family community and diverse natural environment in which I grew up, and then lost, has had a profound influence on my creative practice. Drawn to places of important biodiversity, and associated cultural diversity, I am often witness to its destruction, the experience of people living that loss and efforts to halt or reverse such trends. My work is a personal response to the challenges of place, motivated by compassion for myself and those around me.
