I grew up in Buckinghamshire and moved to Canada where I went to high school. I took a foundation course in the Book Arts and got hooked on bookbinding and the book arts. I returned to the UK and studied Design, Bookbinding, Book Conservation and the History of Art, gaining a BA (Hons) and MA (Merit) in Computer Applications in the History of Art at Birkbeck College, University of London. I have lived in Toronto and London and now I am based on the West Coast of Scotland. I am a craftsman, designer and developer. I work in both analogue and digital fields of design, bookbinding, leather and paper goods, marbling, digital printing, graphic and web design.
