Alison Clarke uses her machine sewing skills with a wide variety of materials to create unusual and vibrant pieces. Inspiration comes from the natural beauty of Bute and its surroundings and from the textures and colours of the fabrics to hand. Combining anything from silk, velvet, felt and cotton to paper, metal and paint she produces an eye-catching range of products including wall hangings, book-covers, bags, dolls and small pieces of wearable art.
