I hold dear the rhythms and patterns inherent in my own Hebridean heritage and am interested in finding ways to communicate and share them with others. My early explorations lead me to see the universality of such rhythms across all cultures, drawing me into the fields of Patronymics and Genealogy.
Currently I am exploring my family genealogy. I have made sound recordings of family Patronymics, from which I made sound wave images, and then created a knitting pattern.
