Grew up in Glasgow and developed a love of the western fringes of Scotland. Retired from paid work, I volunteer in Scouting. I have owned, and am becoming better at sailing a small sailing boat. I take great interest in life and society ( with a small S). I am a long term husband, father, and grandfather and friend. Some of my family live on Mull.
