The Argyll Coast and Islands Hope Spot (argyllhopespot.scot) is a community-led celebration of the world-class natural riches of this part of Scotland. It is the first Mission Blue Hope Spot in mainland UK, and one of over 150 globally. The Argyll Hope Spot aims to celebrate, recognise and support life above and below the waves. Other Mission Blue Hope Spots include the Great Barrier Reef and the Galapagos Islands.

We deliver an arts outreach programme which uses the arts, culture and heritage to help people connect with the seas, species and habitats that surround us. This programme is rooted in our annual Snorkelling Artists Residency. We also deliver an extensive education programme in primary schools across Earra-Ghàidheal and other outreach opportunities in or by the water.
