We work together to create ceramic artworks, using Chris's own poetry. We bring the words to life on the clay, along with imagery, textures and marks which complement the poetry. Using stoneware or raku clay, they leave some areas unglazed and some accented with glaze colours inspired by the beautiful Argyll coastline. We hope that our work inspires and engages. We explore the human condition, the spirituality of wild places and the need for hope. We have recently extended our range by introducing 'seatree elemental' - fired outdoors with earthy red clay and bolder poetry on issues such as climate change and justice - expanding on our work together as poet and potters and our connection with the grounds we live on.
