Bobbi Cameron

Bobbi Cameron is an artist and energy worker based on the Isle of Seil, off the west coast of Scotland. Cameron works across sound installation, moving image, performance and text as an extension of her celtic shamanic practice to explore and celebrate the inherent queerness of communications between human and spirit.

Cameron has presented solo shows with An Tobar, Isle of Mull (2022) and CT20, Folkestone (2021). Upcoming work includes ‘I’m attended as a portal myself’ duo show with Owain Train McGilvary for Glasgow International 2024, SSW x Counterflows Carers Residency 2023/4 and Hospitalfield Interdisciplinary Residency. Previous exhibitions and performances include: keep that blood sugar up, honey, Radiophrenia, CCA, Glasgow (2018); CONCH, Buzzcut Festival, Glasgow (2017); PRIVATES, Festival of Death, Summerhall, Edinburgh and Girl Gaze Festival, Platform, Glasgow; PLEASURE MACHINE, Sexology Festival, The Arches, Glasgow and Wellcome Collection, London (all 2016). She has taken part in residencies at Hospitalfield, Cove Park, Scottish Sculpture Workshop, National Theatre of Scotland, //BUZZCUT// and Live Art Bistro, Leeds.
