I am a teacher and maker of ceramics, My current work includes sculptural forms, wall plaques and garden planters. I also make tiles using the Raku method of firing. My inspiration is taken from the surrounding landscape of Argyll, from ancient Neolithic standing stones and rock art, the lochs and glens around me and mythology, particularly the Green Man and similar medieval stone and wood carvings. I have exhibited with both the Midland and Northern Potters Association and currently the Scottish Potters Association. I'm also a member of Cowal Open Studios. In 2019 I have Exhibited with the Scottish Potters at the Milton Gallery, Crathes, Banchory. Through the summer I have sculptural pieces at Scotland's Nature reserve at Taynish, Argyll. PA31 8PW . 18 May - 27 September and at Caol Ruadh Sculpture Park in their Summer Exhibition at Colintraive, Argyll. PA22 3AR from 23 June- 25 August.
