Being in nature throughout the seasons and in Argyll weather is essential to my practice, needing to capture the overall experience to create authentic art.
My mixed media semi abstract paintings are created intuitively , evoking my internal and external feelings from my true soul through mark making , texture, colour and layers of history.
My ceramics are inspired by the form, textures and colours of the landscape and using different clays and textured glazes, again to evoke my experiences.
