Research Manager | Kirsty MacNab
Originally from Kintyre and now living in Dunoon, Kirsty MacNab is an independent curator and freelance museum professional. Kirsty has worked in the fine art curatorial team at The McManus, Dundee, and in exhibition management at The University of Edinburgh. Kirsty is passionate about Scottish art, demystifying routes into the cultural sector, and accessible storytelling. Kirsty previously worked for CHARTS as the Project Manager (South Argyll) for the 2021-22 Heritage Horizons scheme.
As Research Manager, Kirsty will delve into the Argyll Collection’s fascinating histories and stories. She will share these far and wide, developing an understanding of the artists and artworks the collection contains. She can’t wait to see what she finds.

Project Manager | Ros McKenna
Living in Colintraive, Ros has over 20 years of experience working in Museums, Galleries and Arts Education. Following roles in Exhibition Programming and Learning and Access within York Museums Trust and Glasgow Museums, Ros now owns and runs Tighnabruaich Gallery, working with artists to showcase high-quality arts practice. Ros is passionate about enabling creative and meaningful engagement in the arts and culture for all.
As Project Manager, Ros will relish the opportunity to explore the Argyll Collection and, alongside Kirsty, the wider CHARTS team and Argyll & Bute Council, develop collaborative, creative and exciting methods to share the Collection, raising awareness and building a keen sense of pride and ownership amongst the Argyll and Bute population.
