Growing Global Networks

Growing Global Networks grew from a previous CHARTS project, Placemakers: Microcluster Networks, developed in collaboration with Dr Michael Pierre Johnson, Creative Economy Innovation Leadership Fellow at the School of Innovation and Technology at the Glasgow School of Art

The GGN programme worked to facilitate discussion and growth around international practice and included webinars, mapping sessions, and opportunities for artists in Argyll to work internationally. Based on member interest and response, Growing Global Networks facilitated and funded a small group of new micro-projects to enable 9 CHARTS members from Argyll and Bute to work with international partners.

Growing Global Networks:

Explore the programme insights and case studies, which share insights and a new understanding of how and why to work internationally.  All of these activities act as a process of research and scoping to inform, shape and underpin planning for sustained international working.
