In 2024, Dùthchas Beò | Revitalising Reciprocity With The Gaelic Landscape returned, offering an exploration of Gaelic ceremonial practices and their relevance today. The event, in collaboration with the SCCAN, built on the previous year’s gathering.
The afternoon session focused on the deep connection between the Gaelic language and landscape, highlighting land-based rituals and their role in modern life. Participants visited sacred sites in Argyll, made offerings, and engaged in simple rituals to reconnect with the land. The event concluded at the George Hotel in Inveraray, where attendees shared reflections over a meal. The evening continued at Auchindrain Township, celebrating living traditions with local stories, songs, and lore from various cultures, fostering a greater appreciation for indigenous practices and their ongoing relevance.
