Strategic Support Opportunity

A short-term opportunity exists for a senior freelance consultant to work with CHARTS, contributing to a new business plan and high-level funding applications.

CHARTS was established as a SCIO in March 2019 and has since worked to ever increasing demand to support the arts, heritage and place-making in Argyll and Bute. Our work includes individual and organisational support, developed through building regional and national relationships with leading partner bodies and funders.

Service delivery is annually funding dependent and distinct projects are managed mostly by freelance project workers on a part-time basis, supported by part-time key and core staff posts. The Director is currently the only staff member employed on a full-time basis.

This is a critical time for the evolution of the organisation and due to slim staffing, we now require support to the Director to assist to mitigate operational challenges and meet available opportunities to sustain the development of the SCIO.
