Social Media Tune-up
Posted by CHARTS
In these anxious times, it is critical for CHARTS to support and raise the profile of our members. To help with this, we're changing Wander Argyll, our visitor attraction campaign, to a pan-Argyll, mostly digital programme. Our new programme called Wander Argyll: Fresh Air, includes James Coutts, our Communications Co-ordinator helping to increase our members visibility.
To strengthen your online marketing skills we're offering a series of free 1:1 'Social Media Tune-up' video calls.
If you would like to simplify your social media efforts, James can suggest how to quickly evaluate and plan your activity to effectively promote your projects. These bespoke sessions are suitable for members with all levels of social media experience: from beginners to skilled users.
Topics we might cover include:
>Social media health check
>Streamlining the channels you manage & closing down poorly performing ones
>Which numbers to track
>Learning from (and listening to) your audience
>Improving profiles and using automation so customers help themselves
>Planning your posts - how to decide what is worth publishing
>The tools to plan, monitor and schedule content
>Handling negative comments
>Driving audiences to your live streams and crowdfunding projects.
About the facilitator
James is our Communications Co-ordinator. When he's not promoting CHARTS, James runs his own media and marketing consultancy to help his clients get their 15 minutes of fame. During the pandemic he advised The Bike Station (Scotland's largest bike recycling charity) - streamlining digital activity and managing their social media reputation. His other clients have included Magnetic North Theatre Company, Floris Books, Youth Theatre Arts Scotland and National Museums Scotland.
