Applications are open for Now & Next 2020.
The scheme provides a unique opportunity for emerging artists living, working and studying in Scotland to produce new audio and video works for BBC platforms. The commission is accompanied by a supportive professional development programme to help the selected artists develop their ideas, and realise them to broadcast standard.
We have established a number of systems to enable people to access the opportunity, including one-to-one advice sessions to assist with the application process, travel and child care funds, and BSL interpretation throughout application and commissioning, alongside a commitment to tailoring the professional development programme to suit the successful applicants needs and requirements.
