Hardship Fund for Creative and Screen Freelancers
Posted by CHARTS
The Hardship Fund for Creative and Screen Freelancers will re-open at 2pm on Monday 15 March.
This fund has been provided by the Scottish Government to support freelance screen practitioners working in all parts of Scotland’s screen sector, and audio/visual content producers and professional photographers (whose work does not have to be specific to the screen sector), who are experiencing immediate financial hardship due to the loss of income as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
First time applicants to the fund can apply for a bursary of up to £2,000. You may request more than £2,000 if your request includes access costs. (Please see Page 16 of our guidance for additional information on access costs.)
For this latest round, as well as supporting new applicants, previous recipients of the fund who have been awarded funding can also apply again for a further award of up to £2,000.
For more information, please read the full fund guidance. To submit your application, please visit our online application portal.
