Dòrlach has been a registered SCIO for the last 3 years, carrying on from the work of unincorporated group DROITSEACH, formed in 2011, with the intention of collecting and promoting Gaelic dialect linguistic and folklore material and assisting in a return to indigenous practice in Gaelic Scotland and cross-cultural solidarity with other minoritised cultures and language communities.
