I graduated from Glasgow School of Art in 1989, specialising in ceramics. I set up and ran an Open Studio at home on the Isle of Coll for 18yrs before moving to the 'mainland' to complete secondary school parenting as there is no school here. I worked with various third sector local community organisations in the North of Glasgow for 5 yrs before returning home to Coll. I co-ordinated a pilot project with Young Volunteer Arts Leaders, introducing the Arts Awards to North Glasgow. I also worked within interesting community gardening and nutrition projects, co-ordinating volunteers and training. Once returned home, I worked on GET IN, another pilot scheme for Youth Promoters with The Touring Network. I now work P/T with greenspace scotland as a Community Enabler, capacity building across Argyll and Bute, Highland, Moray and Eilean Siar.
