Ràmh Beacons Mull | Fermenting Futures and Grafting Connections
Posted by CHARTS
To highlight the distinct nature of Argyll's islands and creative communities, we are pleased to announce Ràmh Beacons, a mini one-day festival of island events!
On January 18th and 19th, KNOCKvologan Studio will host two interconnected events celebrating heritage and sustainable practices.
On Day One, from 11.00am to 2.00pm, join us for a Community Fermenting Workshop and Lunch. This collaborative event will bring together local cooks, gardeners and artists to exchange stories, share recipes, and explore the connection between traditional practices and future sustainability.
On Day Two, from 10.00am to 3.00pm, we invite CHARTS members to a Study Day designed to deepen collaboration through guided visits to gardens on the Ross of Mull, partly in search of material for fruit tree grafting in early spring. This gathering is a collaboration between KNOCKvologan Studio and Somewhere and a chance to meet other artists and gardeners from across the island.
Booking essential, to reserve a space or ask more about the events, please email info@knockvologan.net
Ràmh Beacons Mull is supported by the Culture, Heritage & Arts Assembly, Argyll & Isles (CHARTS), made possible with support from Argyll and Bute Council, the Scottish Government and Bòrd na Gàidhlig.
